This Master Class is led by world- touring artist Suzahn Fiering, a successful songwriter (Warner Chapel with songs in over 20 TV shows), vocalist and guitarist. Suzahn is a veteran of MCA, RCA, BMG and Gibson and is an accomplished engineer and producer with credits in New York and Nashville. Suzahn has 4 songs in the Smithsonian Museum and 2 in the Baseball Hall of Fame. From stage to studio Suzahn has worked with luminaries that include, Sir Paul McCartney, Sean Lennon, Pete Seeger, Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, Reba McEntire, John Entwistle, Victor and Reggie Wooten and Jaco Pastorius to name a few. Suzahn Awarded in Liverpool

The Liverpool Institute For The Performing Arts, Sir Paul McCartney, and CEO Mark Featherstone-Witty presented Suzahn with the,  “Honored Friend Award” on July 31st, 2014. Suzahn, who teaches a variety of music related subjects, is a guest instructor and the Nashville Liason for LIPA.  Suzahn has co-hosted events with Mr. McCartney at Bonnaroo and Nationals Stadium in Washington, DC in 2013 on the “Out There Tour” to raise money and awareness for LIPA. Suzahn first learned about LIPA as the International Events Manager at Gibson Musical Instruments. Through her, Gibson set up the “John Lennon Scholarship” and provided instruments to LIPA. As one of the first music manufacturer to jump on board with the then new LIPA, Suzahn facilitated other music manufactures and organizations to come on board to support the school. Suzahn was joined at graduation by students, staff and other award recipients who make up some of the brightest and most successful people in the world of music, dance, theater, arts and entertainment business, set design, sound design and costuming. After receiving her award, Suzahn toured Europe playing Jazz, Blues and Americana in Ireland, Switzerland, Italy, France, Denmark and the UK.

In addition to being a successfully published songwriter and international touring artist, Suzahn is a music and music business educator. Suzahn has led master classes and workshops on a variety of topics in the US and Europe. Suzahn presents to schools, colleges, universities, teacher organizations, corporate groups, women’s groups, community groups, churches and house concerts. Suzahn is a regular guest instructor at The Liverpool Institute for the Performing Arts (LIPA) founded by Sir Paul McCartney, and co-hosts events with Mr. McCartney raising money for international arts education.
