Suzahn Fiering is an award-winning educator (presented by Paul McCartney) who has presented on behalf of the Grammy Committee, The Nashville Board of Education, The Jazz Education Network, and dozens of festivals, universities and community organizations across the US and Europe. Suzahn teaches privately with students across the US and Europe.
Suzahn’s Vocal Enlightenment Method s a break-through method that works in collaboration with the student. Together teacher and student find and develop the student’s authentic voice. The Vocal Enlightenment Method incorporates a holistic approach to teaching voice using properties of sound, light, and Creative Visualization. Along the way Suzahn solves pitch problems, teaches the student how to sing theory, sing with and lead ensembles, sing harmony, and build confidence. And Suzahn shares the tools necessary to continually find joy in their musical journey.
Suzahn specializes in Jazz, Blues, Pop and Americana, and is an internationally recognized Jazz Historian. She is the author of Jazz Guitar-The Layering Method, and creator of the Vocal Enlightenment Method.
